TSH Replacement Treatment	

T4 should be given to patients who are TSH-deficient. The usual dose varies from 0.1 to 0.2mg daily and it is rarely necessary to exceed this. Adequate replacement therapy is indicated by serum triiodothyronine (T3) in the upper part of the normal range.
